It is essential to refrain from using any tool to handle sway bar link boots to prevent damage from occurring. The next step requires removal of the two nuts which secure the sway bar link at the bottom position before extracting both sway bar links and tightening new nuts to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft) when reinstalling them. You should remove the four bracket nuts and sway bar from its position while discarding all the nuts then reinstall the new ones tight at 55 Nm (41 lb-ft). The sway bar bracket bolt plates must be discarded while inspecting the sway bar bushing upset groove installation before proceeding with bushing replacement when needed. Complete the installation by executing a backward procedure.
