Fasten the new sway bar nuts with 63 Nm (46 lb-ft) torque. The service process involves first eliminating four sway bar bracket nuts with their corresponding sway bar brackets and the sway bar itself before discarding the nuts. Make sure nuts receive proper torque of 48 Nm (35 lb-ft) when reinstallation takes place. Check the bushings and change them when needed before positioning the rear sway bar with the hump in the down direction while placing the bushings outside of the upset rings on the sway bar. The sway bar link stone shields need to be installed at the sway bar attachment points. Conclude the installation process by undoing the removal steps while keeping all torque specifications. This maintains proper component retention of parts.
