How to service the heater core on 2008 Lincoln Town Car?

Performing a leak test should be the first step before removing the heater core provided that leakage is suspected. Service of the heater core starts with removing the heater core housing and continuing by taking out the 2 screws on the heater core tube cover. The floor duct can be freed from its position by removing two screws before these four screws holding the heater core cover in place. The heater core becomes available for removal when the additional components secure it in place are taken away first. Installation of the new heater core requires following the opposite procedure to removal steps.
