How to service and repair the heater core on Lincoln Town Car?

In order to service heater core, drain cooling system partially during cool and unpressurized periods. Follow the instructions of the manufacturer of a cooling system flushing system with Motorcraft Cooling System Flush VC-1 or any similar products. Once the backflush has been completed, wipe out the heater core with water and replenish the cooling system.

To service heater core; First, do a leak test when necessary. Take out the heater core housing, screws of tube cover, floor duct and heater core cover. Once these are removed, reverse the steps, and install the new heater core.
