Starting to repair or service the RH temperature blend door actuator of the Dual-Zone EATC requires first disconnecting and removing the glove compartment damper along with the glove compartment itself. The service procedure begins by removing the RH lower instrument panel insulator followed by taking out the RH lower floor console trim panel. The service requires disconnecting the electrical connector from the RH temperature blend door actuator while removing those three securing screws. Check the RH temperature blend door linkage for wrong placement as well as binding or damage. The service part kit should lack new linkage sections because the intact linkage requires only a new actuator. Before servicing the linkage the operator should detach the two retaining tabs until removal becomes possible. The process ends with inverse order from uninstallation.
