How to service the LH temperature blend door actuator on Ford Edge?

Service of the LH temperature blend door actuator requires first removing the two lower steering column opening cover bolts along with detaching the cover. After disconnecting the in-vehicle temperature sensor aspirator hose along with its electrical connector you should position the instrument panel wire harness appropriately. First remove three screws from the LH temperature blend door actuator and disconnect its electrical connector to detach the actuator itself. The LH temperature blend door linkage should undergo an inspection for improper placement as well as binding or damage. Detach the two retaining tabs for removing only the linkage. Follow the opposite steps to installation while remembering that new parts in the service kit should be omitted when the original components are in good condition.
