How to service the Knock Sensor (KS) on 2009 Ford Edge?

Removal of thermostat housing, lower intake manifold, and coolant tube are necessary to service the Knock Sensor (KS). Unplug KS connector and take off its bolts. Fasten and screw in the new KS, screwing in bolts to 20 Nm, and apply engine coolant to the O-ring. The type of coolant must be used depending on the date of vehicle construction.
