How to service and repair the steering knuckle on 2009 Ford Edge?

In order to service the steering knuckle, dismount the wheel and tire followed by the wheel hub nut, washer and halfshaft hub seal. Unscrew wheel speed sensor and prop up brake assembly. Disassemble the brake disc, end of tie-rod and lower ball joint. Install components with torque specified, with fitting making sure they are aligned properly.
