    A: The automatic transmission shifter service requires starting with the selector lever set to position D. Start by prying gently for the upper selector lever trim ring removal. Once you lift up the center console lid you will see and release the center console compartment tray for access. Start the procedure by first detaching the top finish panel and afterward disconnecting the selector lever cable from the selector assembly by removing the bracket and the cable end. The procedure requires disconnecting all wiring harness retainers and electrical connectors from the selector lever together with the selector lever electrical connector and the vehicle harness connector. To extract the AWD module from the all-wheel drive selector lever backside you should simply pull it backward straight. Two screws from the center console as well as four bolts need to be removed to detach the selector lever assembly. Install the selector lever assembly by first bolting the four screws tightly to 15 Nm (133 lb-in) and second, by screwing in the center console screws. In vehicles with AWD feature the AWD module needs to be put on the rear portion of the selector lever. The electrical wiring should be connected to the selector lever while verifying correct attachment of the vehicle harness connector and selector lever electrical connector.
