How to remove and replace the clutch disc and pressure plate on 2009 Ford Escape?

In order to remove the clutch disc and the pressure plate, unlock the flywheel and remove the transaxle. Check the diaphragm spring and observe the safety because its parts are heavy. Take pressure plate and disc off, clean surfaces and inspect damage. Fit with new disc by means of a Clutch Aligner and screw in bolts to 29 Nm.
