How to Service the Rear Crankshaft Seal on 2009 Ford Escape?

Service the crankshaft rear seal: be sure that the vehicle is in neutral on a hoist. Take off flexplate, drain engine oil, and take out the oil pan 17 bolts. Install new seal with special tool, clean the surfaces, use sealant and replace the oil pan and flexplate.
