How to service the Knock Sensor (KS) on 2009 Ford Escape?

In order to service the Knock Sensor (KS), put the vehicle on a hoist in neutral. Disassemble the intake manifold and the bolt of Knock Sensor. In the installation of the new sensor, tighten the sensor to a maximum of 20 Nm (177 lb-in) and reverse the process to complete the installations.
