How to service and repair the turn signal switch on 2009 Ford Escape?

To service the turn signal switch, remove the steering column trim and lower shroud screws. Then, take off the upper and lower shrouds, and remove the multifunction switch screws. Disconnect the electrical connector and take out the switch. To install the new switch, reverse the procedure.
