2009 Ford F-350 Super Duty Blower Motor Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to service the blower motor on 2009 Ford F-350 Super Duty?
A: The service procedure starts with removal of the RH lower instrument panel insulator together with the RH lower A-pillar junction box trim cover. To reach the dash panel insulator you must first move the carpet located under the blower motor until you can access it after which you can move the insulator to the side. Disconnect first the vent tube clips from the blower motor followed by tube removal then disconnect the electrical connector to the blower motor. The counterclockwise rotation of the blower motor separates it from the heater core and evaporator core housing which allows its removal. The shaft end cleaning must occur before wheel removal from the blower motor while using the push clip to expose the shaft. Installation of the blower motor should be done by following the reverse order of the removal process.
