The components should receive index-marking treatment for maintaining driveline stability. Start the procedure by removing and discarding all snap rings while positioning the Screw Installer/Remover and C-Frame in a vise. Pliers will help in bearing cup removal when specific techniques are needed. The C-Frame procedure requires the operator to first place the flange inside then press out a bearing cup before rotating the flange by 180 degrees to press in the spider for removal of the final bearing cup before removing the flange.
