How to Service the Mass Air Flow Sensor on 2009 Ford Focus?

In order to service the mass air flow (MAF) sensor, place the vehicle on a hoist during the neutral position. To remove the MAF sensor disconnect the electrical connector and remove the retaining screws. Installation of the new sensor should be done by tightening the screws and the reverse process of the extraction should be taken as a proper installation.
