2009 Ford Fusion Turn Signal Switch Parts Q&A

  • Q: How to service and repair the turn signal switch on 2009 Ford Fusion?
A: The procedure for servicing or repairing the turn signal switch begins with removing the steering column opening cover that joins to instrument panel tabs through clips and pulling it away from its position straight. The service of the turn signal switch begins with pressing sides inward to release the upper steering column shroud before lifting it upward and removing the shroud. First loosen the tilt lever before you take off the three bolts that attach the lower steering column shroud and then remove the shroud. Pull out the multifunction switch by first disconnecting its electrical connector then removing both attaching screws. The installation process should include backward execution of all removal steps.
