How to Remove and Replace Engine Mount Insulators on 2009 Ford Ranger?

The process of removing and replacing engine mounts starts with taking away front springs and the cooling fan from the vehicle. The right-hand engine mount requires the removal of three rear pushpins before setting the right inner fender splash shield to the side. Begin the process by taking out the four upper nuts from right-hand and left-hand engine mounts. The Lifting Eyes need installation followed by engine lifting with the 3-Bar Engine Support Kit in operation. The engine mount together with its lower nut must be removed after lifting the unit. Install the new engine mount by using the engine mount-to-crossmember nut and torque it to 103 Nm (76 lb-ft). Lifting Eyes need removal before lowering the engine and removing the 3-Bar Engine Support Kit. The installation of four nuts into the left-hand and right-hand engine mounts to attach them to the engine support bracket requires a torque value of 102 Nm (75 lb-ft). After replacing the three rear pushpins secure the cooling fan then fit both front springs.
