    A: The first step to serve and repair auxiliary heater components starts with hoisting the vehicle in NEUTRAL. Before moving onto the rear subframe removal step, drain the engine coolant and recover the refrigerant. Attach the front auxiliary inlet fitting after removing its nut alongside its O-ring and gasket seals then tighten it to 15 Nm (133 lb-in). For the second step you need to complete the same procedure with the auxiliary evaporator outlet line. Unfasten the two clamps surrounding the front auxiliary heater line hoses before detaching the hoses. Start by unscrewing and discarding the outer bolts along with the inner bracket bolts from the LH rear quarter panel moulding before removing both the panel bracket and the splash shield pin-type retainer. Cut off the rear auxiliary heater lines by unfastening their clamps before separating the rear auxiliary evaporator inlet and outlet nut assemblies that require new O-ring seals for installation while tightening these fittings to 8 Nm (71 lb-in). The support process for the fuel tank requires the LH fuel tank strap bolt removal then appropriate 35 Nm (26 lb-ft) tightening before final positioning.
