How to service and repair the inner tie rod on 2009 Ford Taurus X?

In order to maintain the inner tie rod, place the vehicle on a hoist and make the tie-rod jam nut loosened. Take off the outer tie-rod end and the bellows boot, and then a crowfoot tool to take off the inner tie rod. Installation Reinstallation involves centering of steering gear, greasing, tightening of all parts to allowable torques. Adjust front toe as needed.
