How to service and repair the trailing arm on 2009 Ford Taurus X?

To do the repair involving the trailing arm, determine the distance between the fender lip and the wheel hub. Disassemble the wheel, hoist the vehicle and squeeze the shock assembly. Change the trailing arm bolts tighten up to 105 Nm and 110 Nm respectively. Install using new fasteners and undo the procedure to install.
