Researchers should first remove the upper intake manifold and next disconnect the fuel tube-to-fuel rail spring lock coupling followed by removing the six fuel injector electrical connectors. You should take out the fuel rail assembly that includes the fuel rail and injectors after disconnecting the four fuel rail bolts. The twelve fuel injector O-ring seals require immediate disposal as new seals of special fuel-resistant material should be installed while ordinary sealing materials will cause leaks. After oiling them with clean engine oil the new O-ring seals should be installed before inserting the six fuel injectors and their fastening clips into the fuel rail. The fuel rail and injectors must be installed together before securing them to the four bolts with a force of 10 Nm (89 lb-in). After connecting the six fuel injector electrical connectors and the fuel tube-to-fuel rail spring lock coupling it is necessary to install the upper intake manifold and return the battery ground cable.
