Commence the repair process by first ejecting the wheel and tire to expose the lower arm-to-axle nut and bolt which must be discarded before removing the lower arm-to-frame bolt and flagnut and the complete lower arm including disposal of the flagnut and bolt. When installing the new lower arm users must know that the rear suspension lower arms possess an outboard stamp for correct alignment. Fit the new lower arm-to-frame bolt and flagnut into their places loosely before installing the new lower arm-to-axle nut and bolt. A suitable jack should lift the suspension until you reach the previously recorded distance before you tighten the hardware. Reattach the wheel and tire while you torque all nuts to their specified values of 150 Nm (111 lb-ft) for the lower arm-to-frame and lower arm-to-axle components. New fasteners require use with either identical part numbers or equivalent alternatives and the retaining torque values must be followed while paying attention to fastener orientation during the installation process.
