    A: Service and repair work on radiator cooling fan motor and shroud should begin with hoisting the vehicle to NEUTRAL. The process requires draining all cooling system fluids from both 2.5L and other vehicles. Begin by removing the front bumper cover together with both front impact severity sensors. Nitrite pin-type retainers and four bolts with two radiator brackets must be removed before installation where brackets should get tightened to 10 Nm (89 lb-in). Prior to hood latch bolt removal, note its position before unscrewing the locknut and separate the two retaining bolts while tightening them to 80 lb-in (9 Nm) as you reinstall them. The two wiring harness retainers should be removed from both the radiator support and the center support bolt then both components should be tightened to 10 Nm (89 lb-in) at reinstallation time. 2.5L vehicle mechanics must detach the cooling fan resistor electrical connector and the coolant recovery hose from the radiator before placing them aside. First disconnect the electrical connectors of both cooling fans and remove their wire harness retainers before taking out the two bolts along with the cooling fan motor and shroud by tightening the bolts to 8 Nm (71 lb-in). The last step requires performing removal in reverse order while filling the cooling system of 2.5L vehicles followed by bleeding.
