How to Safely Service the Rear Crankshaft Seal on Ford Crown Victoria?

In order to service the crankshaft rear seal, turn off the fire suppression system and place the vehicle in neutral. Take out the flexplate, take out the crankshaft oil slinger and rear seal with the help of appropriate tools. Place the new seal and lubricate it, fit the seal as well as the flexplate and then repower the fire suppression system.
