How to Service and Repair the Power Steering Reservoir on Ford Crown Victoria?

A hand suction pump should drain the power steering reservoir before placing the drain pan beneath it for servicing the reservoir. The first step includes disconnecting both the power steering reservoir pump hose as well as the power steering return hose. Start by removing the screw before you unscrew the bolts which fasten the power steering reservoir. The service steps should be done in reverse order while filling the system and conducting a leak test at the end of installation.
