How to service the Knock Sensor on Ford E-150 Econoline?

The service procedure for the Knock Sensor begins by uninstalling the grounding cable from the battery. First disconnect the engine cover before isolating the electrical connector from the Knock Sensor device (KS). First disconnect the connector then remove the bolt which retains the KS before extracting the sensor. Follow the reverse steps of removal to fix the new Knock Sensor correctly.
