How to Service and Repair the Motor and Transmission Mount on Ford E-150 Econoline?

Maintaining the transmission mount requires you to raise and support the vehicle for the initial servicing steps. The nuts and bolt should be removed from the mount and the hanger secured alongside it. A High Lift Transmission Jack should be used to lift the transmission until its retainer studs disconnect from the transmission support crossmember. After that detach the bolt followed by the retainer. Start installation by securing the retainer followed by installing the bolt using only manual force. You can lower the High Lift Transmission Jack as you position the retainer studs through their proper holes so that the transmission supports itself on the mount. Position the hanger while also installing the bolt after removing the High Lift Transmission Jack. Secure the retainer-to-extension housing bolts first while installing the nuts and separate the supports after the vehicle has descended.
