How to Service and Repair a Shift Cable and Bracket for 4R70E and 4R75E on Ford E-150?

To fix the shift cable and shift cable bracket on the 4R70E and 4R75E, loosen screws and the DLC, loosen the bottom finish panel and drop the steering column. Unplug the shift cable, then loosen it, and re- install it with correct torque. Make sure that the locking tabs are accomplished and fix the cable when necessary.
