The repair and servicing process for the axle beam starts with spindle wheel removal then proceeds to radius arm removal. Users should elevate the left section of their vehicle off its suspension to allow better entry to the right-hand front axle pivot bolt during maintenance. The technician should first remove the axle pivot bolt and nut before uninstalling the axle component. Place the axle into position after which install both a new axle pivot bolt and nut prior to tightening them at this time. You should first reinstall the wheel spindle followed by the radius arm. After the vehicle weight resumes its position on the wheels you must torque the axle pivot nut to 175 Nm (129 lb-ft). Examine the front end alignment according to requirements after completing all reinstallations. When rebuilding suspension systems always replace fasteners using original part numbers or equivalent quality parts which require following specified torque values for maintaining system and component integrity.
