Brake Master Cylinder retaining nuts because these are torque prevailing type nuts which cannot be reused before removing the brake master cylinder. The service starts by disconnecting the check valve of the power brake booster while taking out the locking pin from the stoplight switch. The power brake booster nuts require removal after sliding off the brake pedal pin together with the stoplight switch and booster push rod and bushing. When installing do not use the reused master cylinder retaining nuts and execute the removal method backwards.
