To service coil spring, jack up the vehicle, remove the wheel and stab stabilizer bar and support the axle. Unscrew the shock absorber and take away the upper spring retainer. Unscrew the axle and detach the coil spring and likewise screw it back into place.

How to Service and Repair Front Coil Springs on Ford E-250 Econoline?

To replace the coil springs of the front, raise the vehicle, remove the wheel, and disconnect the stabilizer bar whilst supporting the axle. Un screw the brake caliper, as necessary. Unscrew the shock absorber, and unscrew the upper spring retainer and unscrew the spring by lowering the axle. Reverse for installation.
