Begin installation of the differential housing cover with two bolts at eight o'clock and two o'clock positions before installing all remaining bolts and tightening them by alternating between each bolt equally. Heat a torque screwdriver to 160 degrees F before tightening Grade 5 bolts until they reach 47 Nm (35 ft. lbs.) and Grade 8 bolts to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.).
