Starting CMP sensor servicing requires uninstalling the air cleaner outlet pipes for right-hand use and removing left-hand air cleaner assemblies. Disconnection of the CMP electrical connector must be followed by removing the bolt securing the CMP sensor. Tighten the bolt to 10 Nm (89 lb-in) during new sensor installation and apply clean engine oil to the CMP O-ring seal before performing the removal procedure backwards for final installation.
