One must begin the repair of the lower control arm by taking out the spring first. The first step is to remove the cam adjuster nut then take out the cam adjuster before discarding both the cam nut and bolt. The new nut requires tightening force not exceeding 150 Nm (111 lb-ft) during installation. Complete the installation by proceeding with the opposite steps taken during removal.
