How to service the left-hand (LH) exhaust manifold on Ford Edge?

The LH exhaust manifold should be serviced by removing LH catalytic converter and HO2S, then the heat shield bolts and exhaust manifold nuts. Wipe the manifold, remove old studs and take care not to use abrasive tools. Install new studs and gasket, tighten to recommended torque and reassemble parts in sequence.

How to service and repair the right-hand (RH) exhaust manifold on Ford Edge?

In order to fix the RH exhaust manifold, disconnect the HO2S sensor and remove the RH catalytic converter. Take out the six nuts and studs and clean the manifold with no abrasive tools. Install new studs and gasket and tighten to required torque. Reattach the HO2S and replace catalytic converter.
