How to Service the Oil Pressure Switch on Ford Edge?

Service of the Engine Oil Pressure (EOP) switch begins by hoisting the vehicle in NEUTRAL transmission position. Start by taking out the cooling fan assembly followed by disconnecting power from the EOP switch electric connector. The second step of servicing the EOP switch involves its complete removal from the system. Follow installation of the new switch by applying PTFE thread sealant to the threads and tightening it to 18 Nm (13 lb-ft). Perform the reverse actions to finish the installation.
