How to Service the Engine Oil Pressure Switch on Ford Escape?

When it is time to change the engine oil pressure (EOP) switch, raise the car in neutral. Take out the pin-type retainer, five bolts and right hand splash shield, clamping bolts to 9 Nm when replaced. Unscrew the electrical connector, take off the switch and screw it back on with thread-sealant of 15 Nm.

How to Service the Oil Pressure Switch on Ford Escape?

In order to service the oil pressure switch, first of all, disconnect its electrical connector. Next, remove the oil pressure switch. In order to complete installation, just do the steps in the reverse order. Note that the halfshaft is disassembled in this process to facilitate the process.
