  The service and repair process of the intake manifold starts with draining the cooling system followed by removing the air cleaner outlet tube. The service requires you to disconnect the vacuum hoses at three points including fuel pressure regulator, fuel intake manifold and the exhaust recirculation valve as well as the positive crankcase ventilation valve and idle air control valve. Removing service first requires disconnecting the speed control cable (if installed) alongside Accelerator Cable and throttle control lever while also removing the bolt. The idle air control (IAC) valve gets disconnected from its electronic connections next to the throttle position (TP) sensor while the oil level indicator tube bracket bolt needs removal from the intake manifold. The vehicle must be raised while supported along with the disconnection of the EGR manifold tube situated below the EGR Valve. Next extract the oil level indicator tube from the cylinder block.
