    Each Remote Anti-theft Personality (RAP) module allows the programming of a maximum of four keyless entry remote transmitters yet requires simultaneous programming for all transmitter units. The process of programming should begin only after checking that the battery maintains full power along with verification of no live anti-theft system conditions. The programming of nearby transmitters which press buttons on other keyless entry remotes within 30 meters (100 ft) can happen simultaneously. The programming mode can begin through repeated on to off or off to start ignition cycles within ten seconds followed by an ending on position. The pressing of any button on the keyless entry remote transmitter completes programming mode entry for the RAP module which activates both door locks and unlocks. In order to program extra transmitters just perform the button press again. Each successful keyless entry remote transmitter program completes with the door locks both securing and disengaging. After programming all transmitters use the ignition switch to move it to off then the door locks perform a double lock and unlock cycle to signal the new transmitters along with program mode exit.
