    A: Service of Idle Control Valve (ICV) starts with disconnecting the battery ground cable. Service of the ICV begins with disconnecting the throttle bypass hose along with the ICV electrical connector. First detach the two securing bolts of the ICV before removing it from its position. During installation position the ICV before tightening its bolts at two stages starting from 10 Nm (89 lb-in) before turning them an additional 90 degrees. Reinstallation requires users to link the throttle bypass hose and ICV electrical connector after finishing valve installation. Complete the procedure by reconnecting the ground cable of the battery.
