The first step to work on the coolant reservoir requires draining the engine cooling system. One should unfasten both degas bottle coolant hoses followed by removing its two securing bolts. Tighten the bolts at the degas bottle to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.) before following the removal steps for installation completion.
