How to service the cruise control switch on Ford Expedition?

Start the cruise control switch service on Expedition and Navigator vehicles by first removing the speed control switch using a rear direction pull. The electrical connector should remain outside the steering wheel. Service on the Navigator's cruise control switch starts by taking off the driver air bag module and followed by removing two bezel screws which paves the way for pulling the speed control switch backward while disconnecting the electrical connector. Every vehicle requires the opposite steps during installation of the components.
