  The first step for servicing and repair of the cruise control servo requires the cable cap of the speed control actuator to be removed from the speed control servo through a combination of pushing in the locking arm and turning the cap counter-clockwise. The procedure starts by removing the speed control actuator cable through its core wire end which must exit the speed control servo pulley after spring retainer depression. The operation to disconnect the speed control servo electrical connector requires depressing its connector tab and extracting it from its position. Lessen the bolts from the speed control servo while keeping the rubber grommets steady inside the speed control servo bracket. Move on to the removal of the speed control servo bracket by untightening its screws. The installation process starts by properly seating the rubber grommets on the speed control servo bracket to achieve noise and vibration reduction performance. To install the speed control servo keep the speed control cable slug inside the speed control servo pulley slot before releasing the spring tension while retaining spring compression.
