  A: A successful programming or reprogramming process of remote transmitters requires synchronous programming of all transmitters at once. Start the programming process by using the remote transmitter or keyless entry keypad and door lock control switch in an open driver door position. Success in entering program mode will depend on successfully turning the key from OFF to RUN eight times within 10 seconds before the key remains in RUN position. The doors should automatically lock then unlock to indicate successful program entry. Press any button on a remote transmitter after no more than 20 seconds to observe the locks and unlocks of the doors for verification of proper programming.
