A service or repair of the headlamp switch requires the disconnection of the battery ground cable as the first step. The service begins by taking out the instrument panel steering column opening cover reinforcement followed by removing the center instrument panel finish panel which requires unscrewing all screws beforehand. Work on the instrument cluster finish panel when you disconnect all screws and detach the cluster instrument panel finish panel. Before you uninstall the headlamp switch you must disconnect its electrical connectors, remove the knob and then unscrew the switch before extracting it.
