The first step involves removing the three bolts then disposing of the exhaust converter outlet gasket. Start by disconnecting the right-hand torsion bar link by removing its nut then moving the link aside. Free the rear support slide from the rubber insulator through poking at the interface and simultaneously free the double support slides from their insulators. The muffler detachment begins with sliding the component forward until the rear axle then using twisting motion to disconnect tailpipe from muffler. When installing position the tailpipe assembly to sit above the rear axle before slowly twisting the muffler into place.
