How to Service and Repair the Power Steering Reservoir on Ford Explorer?

In order to service power steering reservoir, empty the fluid in the reservoir through a suction device and then remove the reservoir bolt (tighten to 9 Nm when reinstating). Unscrew the supply and cooler hoses, replace the reservoir, and then add fluid to the system without contaminating it as this will lead to component failure.
