How to Service the Rear Crossmember for Transmission Support on Ford Explorer?

In order to service the transmission support crossmember, lift the vehicle and be sure to remove the splash shield bolts. Assist the transmission, then remove and install mount nuts and crossmember bolts and ensure that they are tightened to the required torque levels. Lastly, install the transmission crossmember in the same way it was removed.
