How to Service and Repair the A/C Switch Control Assembly for the Second Row on Ford Explorer Sport?

The service process for repairing the control assembly in the second row begins with removing the floor console along with the coin tray. Remove the screws which fix the console insert while also unfastening the screw designed to hold the console lid. Open the rear cup holder and proceed to take out any additional screws before extracting its screws. Take off the console rear finish panel by first removing the two screws while releasing the retaining clips. You must disconnect electrical connectors and take out screws and separate the pin-type retainer during this process. Unplug the air distribution door linkage from the second row climate control assembly arm and then remove the second row climate control assembly by maintaining the assembly arm free from bends. Use the reverse instructions to reinstall the system components.
